The RAID Introductory Dive serves as your gateway to an underwater world you’ll never forget. You’ll take your first breaths underwater and learn to glide through the water at neutral buoyancy, experiencing a level of freedom you’ve never felt before. You’ll also meet others who share your passion for endless and exciting adventures. The RAID Introductory Dive program allows you to enjoy a controlled underwater adventure under the supervision and guidance of a certified RAID Introductory Dive instructor. All you need is an adventurous spirit, a swimsuit, and a towel.
To participate in the trial dive, you’ll need to complete some required paperwork, including a dive medical questionnaire, a liability waiver, and a safe diving practices form. If you have any potential health issues, you’ll need to fill out a medical form signed by a doctor before participating in any in-water sessions. After registering with RAID, you can access all the necessary documents online via the “Your Profile” section. If the person participating in the trial dive is under 18 years of age, adult consent is required.
To get started, all you need to do is sign up for RAID and create an online profile. Once you’ve signed up, you can purchase the course online from our “Store” and then start reading the guides and completing the exams and quizzes. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll have immediate access to RAID’s unique FREe-Learning platform, where you can download your course and start your academic training right away. FREe-Learning allows you to download the manuals and complete all relevant tests. Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to contact your local RAID Dive Center to plan your course and have them guide you through the training process. Once you have accepted all applicable fees, your dive center will activate the entire training program, allowing you to complete the exams, have all your skills certified, and receive your electronic certification card. Your RAID online course includes all training materials, which you can access for life. Upon completion, you will be issued an internationally recognized electronic certification.
